In March 2006, BottomLine3 Reporting software was launched for the Japanese economy.
The software was demonstrated by Manfred
Lenzen at the International Symposium for Interactive
Analysis of Economy and Environment, held by the Japan
Research Institute under the auspices of the Cabinet
Office of the Government of Japan, and at the Workshop
on Material Flows and Environmental Impacts behind
International Trade of Japan, Akihabara Convention Hall,
Tokyo.
ISA is now looking for a partner
organisation in Japan, in order to promote the concept
of the Triple Bottom Line as an attractive framework for
companies wishing to report on their sustainability
performance, disseminate and apply BottomLine3 in
Japan.
Japan represents one of a number of
countries that can use the software with a localised set
of economy data. Other countries include Australia,
Germany and the United Kingdom.
